Record Store Day

I've been shopping on Record Store Day before but this is the first one I planned.
We arrived at Newbury Comics at about 9:50 AM with a short list of must haves and a long list of maybes. To our surprise there were about 25 people in line so we braved the cold for 10 minutes until they opened the doors. I thought all the limited vinyl would be on display in the front of the store but they left it all in the tiny bin in the back. Everyone was fairly polite but it was tough having 50 hands reaching in all at once. We hit the F's and found the Foo Fighters's Medium Rare LP. Next was Nirvana's Hormoaning EP (my favorite thing they ever put out) and then I pushed my way to the 45's. Hüsker Dü and Green Day's versions of Don't Wan't To Know If You Are Lonely on one 7 inch single. That was the BIG THREE - Mission Accomplished.
Also picked up the split single of Ramones / Red Hot Chili Peppers doing Havana Affair and the Peter Tosh Legalize It / Equal Rights single on green vinyl. The kid picked up the new Foo Fighters CD and a vinyl bonus find of Mike Dirnt's band the Frustrators, which features a cover of The Neighborhoods' Prettiest Girl.
Grand Total - $66.66. A nice RSD Bag, an Ozzy Poster, some free compilation CD's and we were out the door.
Only thing missing was the 13th Floor Elevators single but everyday can be record store day until I find it.
